cinestripe is a timed movie quiz. This page describes what we store when you play. The game itself lives at play.cinestripe.app.

What we collect

• Account. Google sign-in, display name, username, avatar choice, and theme preference.
• Play. Daily and pack scores, streaks, friends, challenges, and quizzes you create. Daily dates follow your timezone, not UTC.
• Guest play. Daily progress on this device only. Signing in later does not upload past guest runs.

What we do not collect

We do not sell personal data. Colour-strip catalogs are seeded by cinestripe admins, not uploaded by the client app. Share images are mosaics and scores — they do not include film titles.

Challenges

A challenge is a snapshot of a pack. Opponent scores stay hidden until you finish your run.

Retention & deletion

Account records stay until you ask us to delete them. Use Account deletion. See also Terms.
